Innsbruck Airport uses Aura Long Life for the environment

Innsbruck Airport was the first airport in Austria that adopted a certificated environmental management. «Through the use of Aura Long Life we save time, money and the environment – for us there is no other option than Aura Light.“

Innsbruck Airport is an important economical element for Tyrol and it was the first airport in Austria that adopted a certificated environmental management. The aim is to achieve and continue the advancement in creating an environmental friendly workplace. To be able to achieve this all standard lamps were replaced to Aura Long Life lamps.

Saves time, money and the environment with Aura Long Life

Christian Hofer tells why they have chosen Aura Long Life. “Through the long lifetime that Aura Long Life lamps have, we save on the cost of replacements. This also means less mercury on every burning hour, less transportation material, less disposal material, and the use of less energy over the production process. The long lifetime that Aura Light offers also leads to economical benefits, since a lot of areas are hard to reach; parking houses, emergency lamps and so forth. To change the ceiling lighting you need a sky lift, which is very expensive. Through the use of Aura Long Life we save time, money and the environment – for us there is no other option than Aura Light.“
