Good experiences with Aura Long Life

Christer Andersson from Ecophon has good experiences with Aura Long Life. ”I have been buying Aura Long Life products since they were first launched, and I don’t recall having to replace any of them. In one production department, where we installed new light fittings, we were able to ascertain that the light value was still good after 20,000 hours and that the fluorescent lamps had a further 10,000 hours of life. In other places, where we are constantly switching the lights on and off, they have been operating for ten years. The good thing is that Aura Light also make T5 fluorescent lamps in Long Life  which we use in our offices.”

A cost efficient partnership

Christer Andersson is also pleased with Aura Light’s security of delivery. ”Aura Light’s delivery reliability is incredibly good. Moreover, the partnership is cost effective for us. I shudder to think what the cost would be if we had standard fluorescent lamps with shorter burn times. It is difficult to get at them when replacing. We have high ceilings, and replacement requires that we move our machinery, rent hydraulic lift platforms and dismantle production lines. I usually buy 1000 lamps at a time, and can count on having a burn time of over 30,000 hours”, says Christer Andersson.
